How many shrimp for a 2.5 gal tank?

I'm new here and setting up my first tank. How many shrimp should I get for my 2.5 gallon tank? Thank you!

Hi there! You can start out with 10 and watch the population grow over time. However, with 10 shrimp you may only see about 5 at a time in the beginning if you have lots of hiding places. If you want more to observe I'd go with 20-30. Supershrimp don't produce much waste so you're not "overloading" a new tank with that many shrimp.
