I noticed that sometimes my shrimp arch their backs. Why is this?
Just asking these questions to get a better idea on how the shrimps work.

I notice this sometimes when they are cleaning their swimmerets.

Seriously, I found this diagram online. It shows the arched back as a sign of pre-molting.
