Hello,
I bought these shrimps almost two weeks ago under the name "algae shrimps". I now they are not amanos and bought them anyways, at the time they where kinda clearish with a bit of gray. Two weeks later I noticed the some were turning a bit orange in color. I have looked all over the web for orange shrimps including here and I believe that these might just be "orange bee" shrimps. I know they don't look very orange now but thats due to the stress of me moving them from the main tank and into the breeder. Oh the orange color was not fully orange like the many pics I have seem but just a nice hint of orange. Also on thier lower back right on the hump, there is coma shape strip. Any help in getting a confim ID on these shrimps would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance,
Pete

Re: Shrimp I.D. needed please.
No idea. Honestly, they don't look very healthy and when shrimp are stressed out, sick, and just not doing well in general they change color and it's really hard to tell what species they may be. They call any shrimp they can't identify "algae shrimp" out there.
Re: Shrimp I.D. needed please.
Thank you Mustafa, I released them back in the tank and I will take more photos once they are settle again.

You're welcome (although I couldn't help much). I'll give it another shot once they have settled in.
