Are Indian Zebra shrimp tropical?

Are Indian Zebra shrimp tropical?

Will they do fine at room temperature, or will they need a heater through the cold part of the year?

i maintain and breed mine at 23/24 degree celsius

The other shrimp from India are best kept between 72 & 80 .
As stated in the Shrimp Varieties Page

I would not try and keep them below 68.

I keep mine at 76F and they are doing fine....
