Last night I noticed a 2 inch amano with a full load of eggs. From what I have read they won't hatch since they need to be in brackish water. Now if only my darn Cherry reds or my Crystal reds would start producing some eggs.

Hi Pete!
They will hatch without problems, but the larvae won't survive in freshwater. They need brackish water to survive. The larvae will be tiny and float in the water column like brine shrimp. You might see some float around in about 4 weeks, although I doubt you will notice them in your 125 gallon tank.
Take care,
Mustafa
