Myred cherries are breeding like guppies now, but I discovered some hydra on the front glass pne of the tank. Can they possibly catch and eat newly-hatched baby RCS? And if yes, besides tearing down the tank and starting again, what can I do to get rid of them?

I'm gonna be a bit of an ass here and then redeem myself

Don't ya think maybe, jsut maybe someone before you may have possibly has this issue on here? See the "Search" between the FAQ and Memberlist?, Look up some, a little more, yep there it is. Not hard to use.

To redeem myself I did the work for you

Just for yucks do a search on Hydra and see what you get. Then come back and tell me it sucks.

I don't care what the forum is, run a search, if at they time you find nothing say something like "I ran a search on xxxxx and could not find what I was looking for" The us old folks that have been on the interweb thingie since you had have a hand cranked computer won't be so grouchy.

how to apply H2O2? What is the concentration to use?

Use h2o2 straight out of the bottle. You don't need to dilute it. Use a syringe or a dropper.

What I have also done is use a turkey baster to loosen the hydra from its perch (push against it directly, if against the glass), and then suck them out.

Why kill it? Try to transfer it to another tank, it's really fun to watch :)
