I have two clown loaches together in the tank. Could they have disappeared into the loaches' tummies?

Yamato shrimps disappear?
I have about 10 Yamato shrimps in my tank. Over a period of 2 weeks, they have been going missing one by one. Now there's only left 1 or 2. Where has the rest gone? I can't even find the bodies. Thinking they must have crawled out of the tank, I look around the surrounding area but don't find any dried up shrimp.

I've never seen the loaches acting agressively toward the shrimps. Funny!

Really? I thought they only went for the snails...Piscesgirl wrote:I would not keep clown loaches with shrimp or snails -- they are food! If the shrimps are trying to escape -- they are trying to escape from the loaches.
Will try a new batch of shrimps without the loaches and see if that fixes things. Thanks Piscesgirl, for the advise.
