Besides Amano and other algae eating shrimps, which kind of freshwater snails are good to feed on algae, especially the dark beard algae? Is Japanese trapdoor snails good? Or which one? Maybe Malaysian trumpet snails? Please let me know if anyone has any information on this. I would appreciate it. Thank you.
Nerite or olive snails are sold for eating algae, but I don't have any experience to share. Amano shrimp are currently wiping out my BBA and hair algae.
