It probably isn't Caridina simoni simoni. Lately, many similar and related shrimp have been imported to Europe from Indonesia/Malaysia/Singapore. It might be Caridina brachydactyla, which is depicted here:

Caridina simoni from has never been commercially exported as far as I know. The specimen that float around in Germany and Europe are offspring of animals brought back by private individuals.
