i'm no expert, but i do breed cherry shrimp. i think it should be fine. in my limited experiences, you just throw them in there, and they take care of the rest. if your tank is completely out of algae and you think your shrimp are starving, then you can feed them, but if you have leftover fish food ...

Most shrimp come from very clean waters and react very adversely to fertilizers of any sort. i don't think i understnad. don't most people keep rcs in planted tanks? i figured everyone still dosed ferts. i guess i'm just confused as to what to do in my new 10 gallon shrimp tank. don't your plants n...
