I wouldn't recommend any small shrimps with fish, my rainbowfishes ate 5 cherries and 3 bumblebees (those we´rw my first shrimps half a year ago)... Expensive meal, 40 euros

Amano shrimps have been doing just fine in the same tank with my fish. I would prefer them.

try spinach as an alternative to the cucumber. they love it.

Amano shrimps may cost from 2 to 6 euros.

In my hometown all these shrimps cost 5 euros. Just 100km away, Helsinki, for example red cherries may cost 11 euros

I've heard that keeping Procambarus sp. in malawi tank can make it so blue that it can be mistaken for blue crayfish. Could very hard water turn amano shrimps blueish?

I'm pretty sure that I have read that in a 40l tank you could keep a 100 shrimps (like red cherry etc.).

What do you think?

If its a shrimp only tank I don't think you'll have a problem.

I have 7 red cherries (and aboult 100 of their juveniles), 3 tiger shrimps, 4 bumblebees and 7 green shrimp with numerous of apple snails (Pomacea bridgesii) in a 30 gallon tank. Two red cherries and one tiger are carrying eggs :lol:
