You could start the original tank again and seed it with bacteria from the guppy tank, either from the filter media or substrate (or both!) and then take water from a large water change from the guppy tank and put it in the other one.
Or whatever method you choose, just attempt to match the ...

Re: What to do? - Just my luck
Maybe it has something to do with the water parameters and the shrimp are happier in that Guppy tank?

Hey, Mustafa, we NEED people like you.
Knowledgable people that actually have the means to disprove nonsense.
Any I totally agree with your comments about something working for someone and then the 'phenomenon' spreads like wildfire.
Just like this Geo Liquid stuff. In another thread I actually ...

Re: Copper Toxicity
Mate, it is a horrible sight.
They sort of cruise idly through the water, then all of a sudden *ZAP* they jerk across the tank like they have been hit with a tazer. Rinse and repeat.
Every time I witnessed it happen my stomach churned.
Traces of copper can be found in taps and also within rocks ...

Re: jeej's Gallery
I manually added that hair algae to the tank myself for them to eat, and yes, I have seen them eating it.
As for the Geo Liquid, I don't have any scientific evidence, but I would say my shrimp look better and more happy since I started using it - certainly no deaths, the total opposite... lots more ...

And some more...
The natural ingredients of the Geo-Liquid spread throughout the tank and slowly disperse as they treat the water. The cloudiness is generally totally gone within a few hours and then leaves your water crystal clear.

Too true Mustafa and I am eternally grateful for this site and all the people that contribute to the forums.
I get the impression that a lot of info kicking about the www is pure guess work. Nonsense about dietary requirements and not being able to keep plants in tanks because they steal nutrients ...

Excellent, thanks for that.
This site is great, as we all know, but there are some sources on the web with very misleading info, which is a shame.

RCS Breeding : Keeping lines strong
I am aware that if you continually breed out of the same batch of shrimp, then eventually you could end up with weak offspring due to continual interbreeding.
So I was wondering how often breeders here add fresh shrimp to their colonies and how many etc...?
I'm lucky enough that I have someone ...

Re: Waste Control supplement
The best way to control waste is not to help create it in the first place.
I also use Seachem Prime as water treatment in my shrimp tank and also Geo Liquid for invertebrates to help maintain a healthy balance in my tank (it is 100% natural and makes my water crystal clear too).

Re: Should I get more? UPDATE
From the moment I realised I had poisoned my RCS with copper, it took a good two months to fully solve the problem. Really hard to totally remove it from the tank quickly. So I was just doing twice weekly water changes. Now everything is fine.
My point is, just because you are working to solve a ...

Re: Update on Cherry Shrimp with stripe...
I once had a female with a big pale pink stripe down her back and she died too. That was at a time when I was very new to the hobby and inadvertently poisoned my shrimp with copper.

Re: Lowest temperature you've kept CRS?
My shrimp are more active at lower temps. A friend claimed that at lower temps there is more oxygen in the water and that would contribute to them being more active - but I dunno!

Re: Weitzmani Fry in Shrimp tank?
I have 8 Weitzmani Corys in my larger tank, they are great! Was thinking bout adding some mature shrimp to that tank at some point too.
