Does anyone have good solid advice for someone like me, who has not yet entered the digital age? I have two 35mm Film SLR cameras, A Canon and a Minolta Maxxum 7000. Any tips or tricks for getting good quality pics from that camera? I've tried touching the lens to the glass, and I never seem to get ...

Re: "Black shrimp"...possibly Neocaridina sp. 'blu
I recently found some shrimp at a LFS that were shipped in with an Asian order and probably wild-caught, labeled 'Black algae-eating shrimp'. Most of them are juveniles but i got some pics of the two larger specimens. Any ideas as to what they might be? Neocaridina sp. 'blue' is my first guess but ...

In my experience, it is best to siphon out the water that you're removing with the water change, and use it to rinse the plants prior to adding them to a tank, especially things like balls of java ...

Need Help with a Difficult Fish/Shrimp mixing
First, a little background, so you'll understand where I'm coming from;
About 2.5 years ago, my Air Conditioner (in my house) went out in the middle of an Arizona August. It was not fixed for 3 days, and my 100 gallon living reef tank had no chiller. Long story short, after 3 days of 80+ degree ...
